Social Communication Camp

Language Learning Associates will be holding its second annual Social Communication Camp at Medina High School.
SCC is for middle and high school students and will focus on increasing overall social communication skills in a fun and educational format. Students will participate in small and large group activities that will target interacting, working together, explaining their thoughts, teamwork, listening, turn-taking, and much more….
SCC is based on a weekly theme – sports, beach, movies, outdoors, back to school... Each week the activities will focus on the weekly theme. In addition, the camp will have a set daily schedule to establish a routine and will consist of both large and small group activities to work on increasing overall interaction skills.
The camp will be staffed by Speech-Language Pathologists, Certified Educators, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists.
Camp will run from 9am until 12pm on Tues – Wed – Thurs of each week
Camp Cost – The cost of camp will be $150.00 per week or all 6 weeks for $750.00
In our efforts to defray the costs – we are attempting to provide a scholarship for those students seeking financial assistance.
