Study: Children with autism benefit from group play
Children who have autism showed improved developmental and social skills after attending play groups with other children, according to a study from the organization Playgroup Australia. "The more exposure these children with autism get to a play environment, the more prepared they are for schools that may or may not be as autism-friendly," the CEO of Playgroup Australia said.
